E&E Special Products was originally started in 1976 as part of the industrial distribution group, E&E Engineering Inc. (which has since closed).

E&E Special Products LLC (E&ESP) was formed in 2009 to ensure that the numerous components offered in the past by the Special Products group would continue to be available.

E&E Special Products was initiated with the cooperation of many of the special machine tool builders' chief engineers. An aggressive review of their standards was conducted. The result was an offering of "Special Products" that encompassed the majority of work holding and fixture applications while satisfying their most rigid manufacturing specifications.

These products were then cataloged, manufactured in quantities sufficient to offer the economies of scale to each machine tool builder, inventoried and made available when needed. They were soon the standard of industry and continue to be the preferred choice.

Over the years these product designs have been expanded to a variety of tooling communities. Aerospace, medical, defense, automotive, agricultural and off-the-road equipment manufactures are some that have benefited from E&E Special Products' willingness to adapt resources to satisfy the needs of industry.
